TERRY LINDSEY EQUIDAE GALLERY
Greetings from the Terry Lindsey studio. This little wren is one of my latest small pieces. Birds are such a comfort during our long white winters. I have enjoyed capturing them on canvas and board in oil.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COMING WEEKEND IS MY OPEN STUDIO. MY DOORS WILL BE OPEN FROM 10AM TO 5PM ON MAY 28TH AND MAY 29TH. I do hope you can stop by.

Where did April go? It is glorious May in Vermont and our bees are busy in our plum trees. There is so much to look forward to. I am posting today 'Century Dancer' my British Race Horse. This oil was from an image taken after her first win. This 10" x 10" oil is the first in my England Series, from our trip there last spring. The reason for the 10" x 10" is because my summer show at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs, NY during racing season, will be hosting the tenth year celebration. Many artists will paint pieces this size . It will be an interesting feature to my 2000 sq ft show. Also please note that I will be having my yearly OPEN STUDIO on Memorial Day. Terry Lindsey Equidae Gallery
Here we are almost at the end of April.
I have been working hard at a series of (ten) 10" x 10" paintings. The theme is England. Why ten? This summer will be a TEN YEAR CELEBRATION of the existence of Terry Lindsey Equidae Gallery. Last spring we visited many parts of England horsey and non horsey. The above image is just one of the many shots that I took inside ancient churches. It was Easter and tradition has it that the people from the town put personally designed bouquets of their choice in windows or other areas of their churches, for the holiday celebration. It was a magnificent treat to see arrays of flowers tucked next to windows and stone work hundreds of years old. Of course the traditional Daffodil is not overlooked.
YES. The snow is gone and the bees are out in Dorset, Vermont!

On my easel
This week on my easel is my long wished for painting of 'Zenyatta'! Of course she has just won another race and Mike Smith is there to give her her just rewards. Zenyatta has done more then win races for the racing profession. She has reawoken the excitement that all desire in this sport.
Oh. Yes the snow is melting!!!

Good morning from my snowy studio in Dorset, Vermont on April 1st. As this is my first post to my blog it is my wish to each week show you something interesting happening in my studio. The above is a commission almost completed. It is always pleasurable to spend time on painting any horse and this one felt like he would be a wonderful ride!
